Our semester final will be a Socratic Seminar in which students discuss: "Who had the biggest impact?" and thus who is most deserving of the title "TIME Person of the Semester." Students will read biographies and achievements for 6 characters connected to the units we have studied this semester. On the day of the final, students will be assigned one character to support as their candidate to win the award for having the biggest impact.
A 1 paragraph reflection piece is included on the day of the Seminar.
If students do not come to the Seminar with their Ticket In The Door (completed chart), they will be assigned an alternative activity separate from the rest of the group and the maximum grade they can earn will be a D.
NOTE: 5th and 6th hour will NOT do Adam Smith's biography.
